2009 USA Hip Hop Dance Championship

 If your crew is ready for the most exciting street dance competition true to the real values of hip hop then plan on being in  Las Vegas for the 2009 USA Hip Hop Dance Championship July 27 – 29.  Crews (5 to 8 members) from all over the United  States will be competing

 – there is no pre qualification.  Crews will serve up old school and new school moves in two-minute performances hoping to win the USA title and advance to the World Hip Hop Dance Championship where crews from 30 countries will compete July 29 – August 2nd.  Crews placing in the top three positions of each age division in the USA Hip Hop Dance Championship will advance.
Held in conjunction with the World Hip Hop Dance Championship on Saturday, August 1st, are the World Battles – Breaking, Popping and Locking – (see World Battle info). The World Battles are state of the art competitions for the world’s top bboy/bgirl crews, lockers and poppers who will represent their countries for prizes and world dominance.
The five-days of street dance events include panel discussions with respected living legends and icons of hip hop dance, a funk styles room for traditional old schoolers, popping and locking competition and the Urban Moves dance workshops presented by the most celebrated hip hop dancers and choreographers.  Above all, crews meet others from around the world who are equally passionate about hip hop culture and dance.   Participating countries to date include USA, Canada, Mexico, Finland, Poland, France, Trinidad & Tobago, Nigeria, Colombia, Brazil, Russia, Argentina, Spain, UK, Italy, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, South Africa, Denmark, Australia, India, New Zealand, Japan, Philippines, Morocco, Portugal, Latvia and more to come…
