Adelitas Way will mark the release of its self-titled debut on Virgin/EMI Music with a special celebration at the Palms Casino Resort in its hometown of Las Vegas on the album’s street date, July 14th.

A select number of fans to purchase their CD at ZIA Records will gain entry to a private concert by Adelitas Way at The Lounge at the Palms Casino Resort and the after-party at Moon. They’ll be joined by contest winners from local radio stations KOMP and KXTE. Preceding their debut celebration, Adelitas Way will appear at WWE’s Monday Night RAW in Orlando, which airs live on USA Network at 9pm ET/8pm CT.

The Palms will promote the event on its marquis, where fans can catch a 15-second sneak peak of the video for lead single “Invincible.” The full video, directed by Dale Resteghini, (Anthrax, Jim Jones, Mudvayne), will play on screens throughout the casino that day.

A shredding, rock anthem, “Invincible” was tapped by CBS for spots promoting the 2009 season finale of the hit series “CSI: Miami.” Currently available on iTunes, “Invincible” is being used as the theme to the weekly WWE Superstars show airing Thursdays at 8 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Pacific on WGN America. In addition to their Monday Night RAW appearance in Orlando the band will also participate in a live chat with fans that evening at http://www.wwe.com.

Adelitas Way is fronted by singer Rick DeJesus, who grew up in a rough Philadelphia neighborhood that was ravaged by drugs and poverty. In 2005, he seized an opportunity to move to Las Vegas where he met up with lead guitarist Chris Iorio, guitarist Keith Wallen, drummer Trevor Stafford and bassist Derek Johnston. Soon the quintet was opening for artists like Chris Cornell, Hinder and Tantric, generating an impressive industry buzz that resulted in their signing with Virgin.

Produced by the Grammy-nominated Johnny K (Disturbed, Plain White T’s, 3 Doors Down), the band’s debut album is filled with hard, edgy modern rock anthems spotlighting the shredding blues style of teenage axe-slinger Iorio and the propulsive, grunge-like drums of Huntington Beach, CA native Stafford, a veteran of Ozzfest band Shuvel. N.Y. bassist Johnston and West Virginia guitarist Wallen bring a combination of indie, hardcore and classic rock influences to the band’s distinctive sound.

Adelitas Way, whose name comes from an unplanned visit to a Tijuana brothel, is currently on tour with Saliva and will head out with Sick Puppies on August 13th. You can check out first single “Invincible” and other music from Adelitas Way on the group’s MySpace page (www.myspace.com/adelitasway) and at www.adelitaswaymusic.net.
