As MTV’s VMA show gets closer to the air date, MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” just taped their VMA themed show  to air right before the start of the awards show. For the last four crews standing on the stage of ABDC,

their upcoming challenge will be to emulate and add their own touch to past performances from the VMA of big names  artists such as Madonna, Britney Spears and the like.

Without revealing any spoilers, no single crew is safe. According to various journalists backstage in the media room, this  season has not seen much consistency in each crew’s performance from the previous week.

During backstage interviews with Angelica Alumia of Pacific Rim Video along with this reporter, New York’s Rhythm City  was busy with make up and wardrobe touch up. Alumia asked Rhythm City’s Ashley Powell, “Who’s the most picky one as  far as wardrobe, makeup and hair?”

Powell replies, “I think the infamous couple Zoe and Damo, but Zoe is the mega one.” Ashley was referring to Alonzo Williams and Dominique Rosario.

As for the surprise crew that has made it this far Afroborike, all the other crew members were ready for their backstage interviews except Alain M. Lavalle. Once these sexy Latin dancers finally huddled up together Alumia took the helms of having them play a game of “This or That.” In this game they were given two names of music artists and had to decide which was their favorite. While playing the game, they definitely showed their enthusiasm when they chose Marc Anthony over Jerry Rivera and Winsin y Yandel over Tito El Bambino. There was a slight bias with Pitbull and Daddy Yankee. Cuban decent member Alain chose Pitbull while the others chose Daddy Yankee. After the enthusiastic game, it was time for the journalists to head back into the media room as the show commenced taping.

“America’s Best Dance Crew” VMA Challenge show will air this coming Sunday at 7 p.m ET/PT.
